Requirements
  • Experience leading people and building team confidence and capability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while leading by example.
  • Understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies.
  • Reliable transportation for early-morning commutes.
  • Ability to prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products.
  • Ability to accurately label products in compliance with food safety and allergen requirements.
  • Ability to work early shifts starting at 6:00 a.m. on some days.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the team at the Sushi Gourmet kiosk.
  • Maintain audit standards for food and health and safety compliance while meeting Environmental Health Officer expectations.
  • Ensure the team maintains high cleanliness and food safety standards on site.
  • Prepare fresh ingredients by hand during each shift.
  • Label products accurately to meet food safety and allergen compliance requirements.
  • Plan work ahead and manage multiple tasks during each shift.
Desired Qualifications
  • Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) knowledge or certification.
  • Allergen training or knowledge.
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) training or knowledge.
