Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing in B2B software as a service, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership role building growth functions from scratch.
  • A proven track record of building and scaling product-led growth motions with measurable self-serve revenue.
  • Deep expertise in multiple growth channels, including paid acquisition, content marketing, search engine optimization, email, conversion optimization, and product-led growth tactics.
  • Experience building demand generation engines that drive more than $1 million in pipeline alongside self-serve conversion funnels.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience building dashboards, tracking metrics, and deriving actionable insights.
  • Hands-on ability to write copy, build landing pages, set up campaigns, analyze data, and instrument product analytics.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems, marketing automation, analytics tools, advertising platforms, and product analytics.
  • A strong understanding of business-to-business buying journeys and enterprise sales cycles, particularly in complex industries.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority and present results to the chief executive officer and leadership team.
  • Comfort operating as a functional leader with high autonomy and accountability while reporting directly to the chief executive officer.
Responsibilities
  • Own pipeline generation, self-serve revenue targets, and overall growth metrics, including marketing-sourced pipeline, self-serve conversions, customer acquisition cost efficiency, and product-led growth key performance indicators.
  • Build and scale demand generation programs across paid search, paid social, content marketing, search engine optimization, email, webinars, and industry partnerships.
  • Design and execute product-led growth experiments to drive self-serve adoption, free-trial conversion, product virality, and freemium-to-paid conversion.
  • Develop account-based marketing campaigns targeting high-value accounts in partnership with Sales.
  • Optimize the full conversion funnel from website visitor to self-serve customer or qualified enterprise pipeline.
  • Establish growth analytics and reporting infrastructure to track pipeline, conversions, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value, and conversion rates.
  • Manage the growth marketing budget with clear return-on-investment targets and efficient capital allocation across channels.
  • Own website conversion optimization, including landing pages, calls to action, forms, onboarding flows, and user experience.
  • Drive content strategy and develop messaging and positioning for insurance professionals.
  • Partner with the chief executive officer on go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and the growth experimentation roadmap.
  • Establish Growth as a strategic function with clear objectives and key results and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Sales on lead scoring, handoff protocols, pipeline conversion, and lead-quality feedback loops.
  • Work with Product to identify product-led growth opportunities, optimize onboarding, instrument product analytics, and prioritize features that drive viral adoption.
  • Partner with Customer Success on expansion marketing programs, referral engines, and customer advocacy initiatives.
  • Represent Qumis at industry conferences and events and build strategic partnerships with industry associations, technology vendors, and ecosystem players.
  • Provide market intelligence by synthesizing competitive insights, buyer behavior trends, and channel performance data.
  • Develop marketing and sales enablement collateral, including one-pagers, case studies, return-on-investment calculators, battle cards, objection handlers, and industry-specific content.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence-native tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Clay to automate content creation, research, personalization, and campaign execution.
  • Run rapid growth experiments across channels, messaging, creative, and tactics with disciplined hypothesis testing and learning capture.
  • Build scalable processes and systems, and document playbooks and best practices for future marketing hires.
