Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
  • Proficiency with security testing tools such as Nessus, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and similar platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and SANS Top 25.
  • Familiarity with the OSI model, TCP/IP model, and core networking concepts.
  • Hands-on experience in manual penetration testing and security assessments.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing or cybersecurity-related roles.
Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed vulnerability assessments on internal and external systems, networks, and applications using automated tools and manual techniques.
  • Execute penetration tests on IT infrastructure, web applications, mobile platforms, and network components.
  • Simulate cyber-attacks to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.
  • Apply AI-powered security tools and AI/ML security considerations for detection, analysis, and hardening.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure configuration baselines across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Perform configuration reviews of security tools and platforms to identify misconfigurations and drive them to closure.
  • Apply security knowledge across applications, databases, networks, servers, Active Directory, and desktops.
  • Support incident response through root cause analysis or incident containment.
  • Analyze assessment and testing results to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports with actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with security, development, and operations teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in implementing security controls and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation covering assessment methodologies, findings, and remediation recommendations.
  • Keep documentation updated and accessible.
  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and incorporate new techniques into testing activities.
  • Travel across the country as required for project execution, monitoring, assessments, testing, and coordination with distributed teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with IoT/OT security.
  • Deep understanding of embedded protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, and SWD.
  • Experience with radio protocol attacks involving BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, DSP, and SDR.
  • Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker, Offensive Security Certified Professional, or equivalent.
  • Experience with penetration testing simulations such as Hack The Box or Capture The Flag exercises.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security testing and reporting tasks.
  • Experience in vendor risk assessments or IT governance processes.
  • Experience with commercial and open-source tools and frameworks including Burp Suite, Metasploit, Core Impact, Scapy, AppScan, WebInspect, Qualys, Nessus, Nmap, SQLmap, and OWASP ZAP.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and continuous learning in cybersecurity.

Atari returns to profit with $63.3M revenue, highest in over a decade

Video game developer Atari reported annual revenue of €56 million ($65 million), its highest in over a decade, as the Paris-based company returned to profit through reviving old franchises and acquiring studios. The former bankruptcy-protected arcade pioneer raised its stake in Swedish publisher Thunderful to 97%, bought Crossy Road-maker Hipster Whale for $29.3 million, and acquired IP rights to five Ubisoft titles including Child of Eden and Grow Home. Games revenue rose 67.7% to €46.1 million, whilst hardware revenue jumped 83% to €7.3 million. Current operating income turned positive at €0.9 million versus a €0.8 million loss previously. CEO Wade Rosen said Atari was "reaching operational profitability for the first time in several years".

Atari acquires Implicit Conversions, developer behind 100+ PS Plus Premium classics

Atari has acquired Implicit Conversions, a studio specialising in bringing retro games to modern systems, including many classic titles available on PS5 and PS4 through PS Plus Premium. The studio joins Atari's growing portfolio of retro gaming teams, which includes Digital Eclipse and Nightdive. According to its website, Implicit Conversions has ported over 100 classic titles to modern consoles, including Fear Effect, Fighting Force and Mortal Kombat series. Atari CEO Wade Rosen highlighted the addition of Implicit Conversions' proprietary Syrup engine to the publisher's toolkit.
