About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Technology from an accredited university or college is required.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in technology, technology operations, program management, lifecycle management, product technology, project technology, or a related industrial technology environment is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience within the power generation, energy, industrial, or a similarly complex technical industry is required.
  • Experience leading operating rhythms, business management, performance management, resource planning, or strategic initiative execution in a global, matrixed organization is required.
  • Experience using operational data, key performance indicators, dashboards, or business intelligence tools to improve performance visibility, decision making, and execution discipline is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and presenting executive-level materials to senior leaders, are required.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions, businesses, regions, and leadership levels to resolve issues and drive outcomes is required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operating system for Power Mission, including annual priorities, long-term operating strategy, operating reviews, action tracking, leadership follow-up, and daily, weekly, and monthly management cadences. Ensure leadership discussions are data-based, action-oriented, and connected to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost in that order.
  • Lead global demand-capacity planning processes in partnership with technology leaders and ARC operations. Help functional leaders prioritize and deploy resources across customer commitments, strategic programs, technical risk reduction, and productivity commitments. Maintain visibility to capacity, demand, resource constraints, contractor usage, labor productivity, and financial performance.
  • Partner with finance and technology leadership to support budget planning, operating plan execution, forecast accuracy, voucher and cost-center discipline, and productivity tracking. Identify risks and opportunities early, recommend mitigation actions, and drive follow-through to deliver committed business outcomes.
  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, bowler metrics, and business intelligence mechanisms that track organizational health and execution performance. Establish measures for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, productivity, demand-capacity, technology cycle time, lead time, quality, corrective actions, transformation progress, and customer responsiveness.
  • Drive lean operating rigor across the organization, including standard work, leader standard work, daily management, KPI development, problem solving, waste elimination, Hoshin Kanri deployment, and breakthrough-priority governance. Ensure lean is embedded into how the organization operates rather than treated as a stand-alone initiative.
  • Partner with quality, product safety, technical compliance, and technology leaders to strengthen process discipline, design quality, documentation quality, execution rigor, and prevention-based problem solving. Champion a quality-first mindset and ensure delivery and cost actions do not compromise safety, compliance, or technical integrity.
  • Translate Power Mission priorities into executable plans, governance, milestones, metrics, risk reviews, and stakeholder alignment. Provide operational leadership for critical initiatives, AI-enabled ways of working, productivity actions, value stream improvements, capability development, and operating model improvements.
  • Serve as a primary interface between Power Mission and cross-functional stakeholders. Represent the organization in ARC operations forums and translate enterprise priorities into functional execution. Lead horizontally to remove barriers, improve alignment, and reinforce a One Team approach across global organizations.
  • Act as a trusted proxy and operating partner for the Executive Director, proactively identifying blind spots, surfacing risks, framing decisions, and resolving complex cross-functional roadblocks. Manage information flow, prepare executive-level materials, and ensure leadership time is focused on the highest-impact issues.
  • Lead the organization communication strategy, including leadership updates, operating reviews, all-hands content, newsletters, business updates, and other mechanisms that create clarity and alignment across a global team. Connect individual technology contributions to customer outcomes, business performance, and GE Vernova priorities.
  • Lead assigned operations resources and partner closely with quality, lean, finance, HR, and functional leaders. Set clear expectations, coach for performance, support development planning, and build organizational capability to operate a complex global technology organization with rigor, pace, transparency, and accountability.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior people leadership experience, including leadership of operations, quality, lean, project management, or business operations resources.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis, operating plans, productivity tracking, contractor management, or cost management.
  • Experience implementing and coaching lean fundamentals, including standard work, daily management, leader standard work, KPI development, problem solving, Hoshin Kanri, and waste identification.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives in a multifunctional matrix environment, including transformation programs involving operating model change, workforce capability development, digital tools, or AI adoption.
  • Experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, AI/LLM tools, prompt technology, agents, or related business reporting and productivity platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, quality systems, technical compliance expectations, customer outcomes, and the operational interfaces between technology, projects, product management, sourcing, manufacturing, services, and finance.
