Requirements
  • 7–8 years of experience in CRM, promotional marketing, loyalty or incentive strategy — ideally in e-commerce or retail
  • Proven track record of managing and optimising a significant promotional or incentive budget with demonstrated ROI impact
  • Strong analytical profile: comfortable with performance data, A/B testing frameworks and KPI-driven decision making
  • Experience working at the intersection of marketing and product: able to translate business needs into product requirements and engage credibly with PM and Tech teams
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills — you influence, align and drive without hierarchical authority
  • Structured thinker with strong project management discipline: you handle complexity, prioritise well and deliver on time
  • Fluent in English (working language). French is a strong plus
Responsibilities
  • Own the strategy and allocation of the voucher marketing budget across all lifecycle stages — acquisition, activation, engagement, reactivation
  • Define well-framed and scoped problems, linked to concrete business OKRs, based on evidence (expertise, data, feedback, etc.), and define functional features to answer these problems
  • Lead the execution with contribution of tech, data and operational teams
  • Define the right promotional mechanics for the right moment: welcome offers, cashback, brand-funded vouchers, targeted incentives, win-back promos
  • Build and maintain a promotional performance framework: track ROI by mechanic, by market, by lifecycle stage, and by funding source (Veepee vs. brand partners)
  • Identify optimisation levers and challenge the status quo — push toward more targeted, more personalised and more cost-efficient promotional strategies
  • Work closely with our CRM Data Steward to leverage the Voucher Performance tracking tools and A/B test dashboard; design and run structured tests on promotional mechanics
  • Act as the CRM lead on the Wallet & Promo Products project — Veepee's strategic initiative to reinvent the promotional experience for members
  • Translate CRM strategy and member insights into concrete product requirements for the Front/Growth PM team
  • Define and champion the gamification vision for the promotional wallet: mechanics, member journey, engagement loops — this is a blank page and yours to write
  • Contribute actively to the product roadmap: challenge priorities, validate UX directions, and ensure CRM objectives are embedded in every sprint
  • Coordinate with our Head of CRM Engagement & Conversion and our Head of CRM Traffic & Recruitment to ensure promotional mechanics are consistently integrated into lifecycle journeys and traffic plans
  • Monitor the live rollout of product-specific promotions (currently in test) and drive the scaling strategy across markets
  • Serve as the single point of contact for promotional topics within the CRM team and toward external stakeholders (Finance, Brand Partnerships, Product, Tech)
  • Participate in CRM leadership discussions and contribute to the CRM team's collective roadmap — promotional levers are a shared enabler across all lifecycle strategies
  • Document everything: strategy, decisions, test results, roadmap contributions. Documentation is a deliverable, not an afterthought
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing loyalty or gamification mechanics (even if called something else)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign or equivalent)
  • Experience in a B2B2C or marketplace environment
  • Knowledge of brand co-funding / trade marketing mechanics

Veepee runs a members-only online platform for flash sales of branded products, including fashion, accessories, home goods, and travel. Members sign up to access limited-time offers, with inventory sourced by partnering with brands to sell overstock or past-season items. The platform earns a commission on sales and has expanded into travel deals and a second-hand marketplace called Re-turn. Unlike many retailers, Veepee relies on exclusive, time-limited sales to create urgency and partners with brands to provide a channel for clearing excess stock without diluting brand image. The goal is to connect brands with value-seeking consumers through targeted, time-bound events while growing the member base and expanding category coverage.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Re-turn sold 1.8 million returned items by 2025, proving strong circular-commerce demand.
  • RetailDetail reported 15,000 to 30,000 Re-turn items daily in Benelux by 2026.
  • ECDB estimated 2025 revenue at US$3.982 billion, giving Veepee scale for media and logistics leverage.

What critics are saying

  • Veepee closed its Belgian distribution centre in 2023, cutting 59 jobs and centralizing logistics.
  • Revelio Labs shows zero active postings in 2026, signaling stalled expansion and weak talent demand.
  • If brands shift excess inventory to marketplaces like Zalando, Veepee’s supply becomes existentially scarce.

What makes Veepee unique

  • Veepee’s Re-turn, expanded to Benelux on 2025-12-09, monetizes returns twice.
  • Its brand-funded flash-sale model protects luxury and fashion brand image through controlled overstock clearing.
  • Veepee|ad partnerships with CitrusAd and Catalina deepen retail-media monetization beyond discounting.
