IDEAL ELECTRIC COMPANY

View

Ideal Electric Company designs and builds high-power, specialty electric machinery in the United States. Its products include synchronous and induction motors, electric generators, synchronous condensers, switchgear, and power control systems up to 50 MVA, which convert electrical energy to mechanical power or generate electricity, with full-load testing at a large Mansfield facility. It stands out as the last 100% privately held, vertically integrated U.S. OEM, expanding its portfolio through acquisitions of IP and product lines from The Louis Allis Company, Beloit Power Systems, Fairbanks Morse assets, and Colt Industries. The company aims to keep American ownership, preserve legacy equipment support, and grow by broadening its capabilities and services to provide reliable power solutions for heavy industry, while aligning with Build America, Buy America policies.
