- Reject materials that appear unsuitable for testing.
- Immediately call the biomedical engineer to report breakdowns.
- In emergencies, outsource samples to other laboratories or hospitals in the event of equipment breakdown.
- Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of tests, including documentation, and make appropriate changes to test procedures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve service or quality issues with follow-through.
- Provide written management information system reports at routine intervals.
