You will
Embed directly with external parties such as Third Party Administrators (TPA's), Record-Keepers, and HR/Payroll processors
Rapidly understand their toughest operational issues and use software and AI as a lever to quickly build end-to-end full stack products for them
Engage directly with external stakeholders, from technical teams to executives
Required Competencies:
2+ years of forward deployed / solutions engineering experience
Strong full stack software engineering skills
Proficiency in any of the following: Kotlin, Rust, Java, Go, C/C++, Python, Ruby, or TypeScript
Proficiency with React

Basic Capital provides retirement financing for 401(k) and IRA plans by pairing user contributions with supplemental capital to create a levered investment base that is invested in diversified ETFs and bonds. For every $1 a user contributes, the company adds $4, resulting in a 5x base; it handles IRA and LLC setup, financing, and portfolio management without credit checks and includes protections to reduce margin-risk exposure. The platform serves both employers (via a 401(k) platform for recruitment and retention) and individual savers (via IRA plans), differentiating itself with structured leverage and integrated administration. Its goal is to democratize access to wealth-building tools and expand retirement savings through leveraged investing while mitigating common margin risks.
