Audiohook runs a performance advertising platform brands and agencies use to buy podcast, streaming audio, and digital radio inventory. An advertiser sets a conversion goal and a target cost per conversion, and the platform buys across fragmented supply to hit it, using audience and contextual signals, podcast transcription to keep placements brand-safe, and reinforcement learning to move bids in flight. Results land in dashboards backed by an attribution model built for audio rather than borrowed from display. Unlike the impression-based buying that dominates the channel, advertisers pay only for verified conversions, so a campaign that does not convert generates no invoice. The company's goal is to make audio measurable enough for direct-response budgets by tying every dollar to an outcome.

Audiohook acquires Podscan and opens data to industry. Sep 30, 2026 | TVN Staff Save this article for later! Login or create a Free Member Profile to bookmark it. Audiohook Corp. has acquired Podscan Inc. and is making most of the podcast intelligence platform's data available to the industry at no cost. The deal closed Aug. 24, according to Audiohook. The company said the move will give advertisers, creators, podcast networks and publishers broader access to transcripts, brand-suitability analysis and contextual segments tied to the shows they represent. Audiohook said Podscan analyzes more than 70,000 podcast episodes a day, scanning for brand mentions, contextual categories, brand suitability and sentiment. The company said the scale of the platform gives users visibility into a medium where the volume of new content has made broad analysis difficult. "Audiohook has always been focused on pushing this industry forward by giving advertisers better data, greater transparency and the intelligence they need to make more informed decisions," said Jordan Bentley, Audiohook CEO. "When we began working with Podscan, we immediately recognized the quality and sophistication of what Arvid had built," Bentley said. "Bringing Podscan into Audiohook allows us to combine our strengths and make this intelligence even more valuable." Bentley said the company will make much of the data available free to the industry because more transparency helps brands, creators, networks and publishers make more confident decisions. Podscan founder Arvid Kahl has joined Audiohook and will oversee the technical transition and future development of the platform. "As a founder, you think very carefully about what the next chapter should look like for something you've built from the ground up," Kahl said. "Joining Audiohook gives us the resources and expertise to accelerate the roadmap, expand the platform's capabilities and build things that would have taken us much longer to accomplish independently," Kahl added. Podscan by Audiohook is live and available now. The company said users can create a free account at Podscan.fm.
