Requirements
  • At least 2 years of previous trading experience with a proven track record managing an options market-making book and maintaining or improving automated trading systems.
  • A BA, BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Physics, or a related field.
  • The ability to use market information to positively impact trading operations and algorithmic trading systems.
  • The ability to work under pressure and make fast decisions in a dynamic market.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • The ability to successfully manage and form external counterparty relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Manage pricing, positioning, and algorithmic trading activity across options market-making strategies and desks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and institutional counterparties, translating relationship and flow context into adjustments for pricing and positioning.
  • Analyze market microstructure and execution quality to generate alpha signals and improve strategy performance.
  • Manage real-time risk across a diversified portfolio of options positions.
  • Develop new relationships to improve access to flow and expand the business.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to develop new models using proprietary datasets.
