Requirements
At least 7 years of experience as a general contractor superintendent on large-scale commercial construction projects.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, not required.
Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems.
Proficiency in construction management software.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage project schedules, and submit daily logs and field reports.
Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance.
Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, and maintain a secure job site for workers and visitors.
Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to project plans and specifications.
Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch-list completions.
Serve as the primary on-site leader, driving construction from initial setup through final turnover; travel and extended stays at job sites are required.
