Endeavor Health researchers have developed a comprehensive genetic screening test for coronary artery disease that combines monogenic and polygenic risk assessment methods. The GenProb-CAD test screens for both monogenic risk and polygenic risk of coronary artery disease and Lipoprotein(a), providing a more complete picture of patient risk. The test, currently available only within Endeavor Health, was validated using biobank data from 450,000 individuals. Results published in Circulation: Genomic and Precision Medicine show it identifies significantly more high-risk patients than traditional monogenic tests alone, with similar predictive accuracy to conventional diagnostic methods. Coronary artery disease causes nearly one million US deaths annually. The new test could enable earlier detection and prevention before symptoms appear. Over 80,000 patients have participated in Endeavor Health's Advanced Primary Care programme since 2014.

While serving as president of Swedish Hospital, Jonathan also served as system executive for radiology across the Endeavor Health system. In this capacity, he strengthened system-wide radiology alignment across five physician groups and nine hospitals. Earlier in his career, Jonathan held a variety of leadership roles at Swedish Covenant Hospital and Galter LifeCenter, where he led major capital projects, improved financial performance, and built strong community partnerships.
