Are you an expert in physical security with a proven track record of building  and leading world-class security programs? If so, this role is for you. We’re seeking an exceptional Global Physical Security Senior Manager to join Verkada’s Security team. This role will be instrumental in safeguarding our employees, assets, and facilities worldwide while building and maintaining best-in-class security operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in physical security, combining strategic program development with hands-on operational leadership. What You’ll Be Expected To Do

• Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise across the organization as the  leading subject matter expert in physical security operations 
• Design and implement a comprehensive global physical security program, including Guard Force Management, Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions to safeguard employees, assets, and facilities
• Develop and oversee critical security programs including executive protection, event security, travel risk management, and supply chain security initiatives
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, implementing mitigation strategies and maintaining compliance with industry standards
• Manage and evaluate third-party security providers through service level agreements, quarterly business reviews, and key performance indicators
• Establish and maintain security documentation including standard operating procedures, training materials, incident response playbooks, and crisis management protocols
• Create and implement employee security awareness programs to foster a strong security culture across regional offices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business continuity, crisis management, and EHS initiatives to ensure comprehensive emergency response readiness
• Drive technological innovation in security systems and provide product feedback to engineering teams for continuous improvement
• Lead regular emergency response drills and maintain crisis management plans to ensure organizational readiness

What You’ll Need

• 10+ years experience running security programs, with at least 6+ years in a global enterprise security leadership role
• Demonstrated experience building comprehensive security programs from the ground up
• Proven expertise in guard force contract management and vendor relationships
• Strong executive presence with experience presenting to and collaborating with C-level leadership
• Track record of developing and sharing security best practices with internal and external stakeholders
• Prior law enforcement or military background preferred
• Active participation in professional security organizations such as ASIS or SVSG
• Professional security certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP) strongly desired
