Responsibilities
Examine contract documents to determine the details of items to be performed.
Build and install scaffolding, framing, temporary shelters, doors, frames, hardware, millwork, trim, and cabinetry according to sketches, contract documents, or verbal instructions.
Erect scaffolding for buildings and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
Use hand signals to communicate with construction-equipment operators and facilitate the alignment, movement, and adjustment of construction materials, supplies, and equipment.
Perform maintenance or cleaning activities.
Perform other construction-related duties as requested or assigned.
Conform to company policies and procedures, including completing new-hire safety-manual sign-off.
Attend and participate in miscellaneous site meetings and share knowledge, information, and ideas as requested by the Project Superintendent.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, dust, dampness, ice, precipitation, and mud.
