Requirements
  • Studying a degree in Data Science / Business / Finance / Economics / Maths
  • Competent with MS Office, Expert Excel user (familiar with VLOOKUP/SUMIF/Pivot tables / VBA Macros), Awareness of MS ACCESS
  • A team player with a proactive attitude
  • Must have strong numerical skills, with ability to analyse large amounts of data and present findings in a transparent and concise manner to cater for a varied audience
  • Advanced Excel skills is essential, Microsoft Access would be an advantage
  • Should be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Be comfortable prioritizing tasks
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Placement/work experience in automotive industry / data analysis or management would be an advantage
  • Fluent English, verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Gather, process, analyse, and present current financial data and provide forecasted movements/trends, create reports for regular cross functional meetings
  • Preparation of standard cost of sales for future models for annual Business Plan and Mid-term Plan (3/5 years) - liase with different functions and sites
  • Work with various functions including, Financial Planning & Administration (FP&A), Sales & Marketing Control (S&M), Vehicle Profit Team, Corporate Strategy Team, Production Plant Finance, Regional Cost Manager group (RCM)
  • Support system and process improvements
  • Where appropriate simplify, enhance, or create new reports to support existing requirements, by means of MS Office applications
