Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure and assist with luggage
  • Transport luggage to/from guest rooms and assist with room moves
  • Escort guests to rooms and inform them of hotel services and features
  • Attend to immediate needs of guests for concierge services
  • Provide history tours of resort and orientations to guestrooms
  • Coordinate guest requests, reservations, and miscellaneous tasks
  • Assist guests with transportation needs and park/retrieve guest vehicles
  • Knock and announce before entering guest rooms
  • Knowledge of daily events, happenings, and resort features
  • Assist in locating lost luggage
  • Tag, store, and retrieve luggage
  • Explain hotel facilities and features to guests while escorting them to their room
  • Explain safety features and emergency procedures within rooms
  • Demonstrate use of room keys and place luggage inside room
  • Maintain knowledge of all hotel features, room types, rates, availability, and daily counts
  • Maintain knowledge of scheduled functions and local attractions
  • Assist guests with concierge services, local restaurants, events, attractions
  • Provide directions for transportation
  • Handle guest complaints with patience and gracious manner
  • Deliver items to guest rooms (mail, packages, flowers, etc.)
  • Monitor lobby and luggage area appearance
  • Assist with unloading/loading of vehicles and retrieval of tickets and flowers
  • Anticipate guests' needs and acknowledge all guests
