Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree with a major in business, finance, accounting, or economics is required.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in banking or financial services is required for an Associate-level candidate; at least 4 years is required for an AVP-level candidate.
  • Strong data analytical capability in monitoring business performance is required.
  • Basic knowledge of common software, including Microsoft Office and financial spreadsheets, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Research market conditions and developments, analyze industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, market-share possibilities, supply, and demand, and write daily and monthly market information analysis reports.
  • Prepare loan and deposit statistical data for reporting purposes.
  • Monitor business performance, prepare management reports, analyze key business metrics, and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Participate in special assignments and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Write semiannual and annual department business reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor the progress of new loan and deposit deals and report deal-closing news in English and Chinese.
  • Communicate with the head office, domestic branches, departments, and New York branch sub-branches.
  • Assist with completing risk and compliance assessments.
  • Process transactions according to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including AML, BSA, and OCC requirements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and understand regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audits by providing requested documentation in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with programming languages and data analytics tools, such as SQL and VBA, is highly preferred.
