Requirements
  • Current New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current New York State registered nurse license.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State-approved accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Must live within commuting distance of NewYork-Presbyterian; all roles require on-site presence, which varies by role.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Deliver care within the neurosurgery service in accordance with established practice protocols, Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Agreements, and the policies and procedures of the Division of Nursing, service department, and NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group.
  • Travel between multiple practice locations, including Downtown Flushing and Forest Hills.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or registered nurse experience in neurosurgery.
  • Bilingual in Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
