Requirements
- At least 5 years of Java web user-interface development experience using Ext JS, AngularJS, and jQuery for high-quality interactive user interfaces and user experience.
- At least 5 years of Core Java application development experience developing distributed, mission-critical trading or transactional analytics systems using Core Java and Java Platform, Enterprise Edition.
- At least 5 years of database programming experience designing and building enterprise-scale, high-volume Oracle and Sybase database processing using packages, procedures, triggers, PL/SQL, and Java stored procedures.
- Experience with the Model-View-Controller design pattern and implementation.
- Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of issues, and propose solutions.
- Proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle best practices and processes.
- Knowledge of release and deployment.
- Ability to provide Level 3 production support.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a strategic, high-volume platform leveraging Ext JS, Core Java online processing, batch analytics processing, Oracle data models, and PL/SQL processing.
- Design and build transactional detection patterns and analytics reports.
- Design and implement user interfaces for a high-performance analytics visualization, workflow, and case-management platform using user-experience principles.
- Follow software development life cycle best practices and processes to ensure code quality, performance, stability, and scalability.
- Perform end-to-end design, build, and delivery.
- Coordinate and support releases and deployments.
- Provide Level 3 production support.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing data analysis and data mining applications using business intelligence tools such as QlikView and Spotfire or custom Java development.
- Knowledge of financial products, including futures and options, foreign exchange, commodities, equities, trade life cycle, and workflows.
