About the job

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering, including at least 2 years in an architect-level role.
  • Proven hands-on experience operating Kubernetes at scale in production, across multi-cluster and multi-tenant environments.
  • Significant Linux systems administration experience involving kernel, networking, and storage at a low level.
  • Experience with high-performance computing and/or GPU infrastructure, such as physical GPU servers, NCCL, InfiniBand, or high-speed fabrics.
  • Demonstrable presales or client-facing experience.
  • Production experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
  • Strong understanding of GitOps and CI/CD pipelines in enterprise settings.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with sales and solution teams to identify and qualify new opportunities.
  • Lead or support technical presales activities, including discovery workshops, RFP responses, and architecture presentations.
  • Build and deliver proofs of concept that demonstrate platform capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Prepare technical materials and advise clients during conversations, proposing solutions aligned to business goals.
  • Operate directly within client accounts as a senior SysOps/DevOps engineer.
  • Run, troubleshoot, and optimize production-grade Kubernetes clusters and GPU/HPC environments hands-on.
  • Own Linux system administration, including kernel tuning, storage, networking, and performance profiling.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code pipelines, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD systems.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex operational incidents within accounts.
  • Design end-to-end platform architectures spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-premises HPC environments.
  • Define workload isolation models, networking architectures, and storage strategies for multi-tenant platforms.
  • Recommend and validate technology choices aligned to client scale, budget, and team maturity.
  • Produce architecture decision records, solution blueprints, and technical runbooks.
  • Design production-grade multi-cluster Kubernetes platforms using RKE2, EKS, and AKS at enterprise scale, including GPU-aware clusters using NVIDIA H100, A100, or B200 node pools and hybrid-cloud/on-premises HPC infrastructure.
  • Define and document workload isolation using namespaces, MIG partitioning, and multi-tenancy models; networking using BGP peering, ingress controllers, and service mesh; and storage using Longhorn, Ceph, distributed, and high-throughput file systems.
  • Define and enforce platform standards across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Define GitOps strategy and use ArgoCD and Fleet for declarative cluster management.
  • Build, test, and promote through CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • Use Terraform modules, remote state, and workspaces, as well as Ansible, for infrastructure as code.
  • Standardize cluster bootstrapping, application deployment lifecycle, and environment promotion from development through QA to production.
  • Design and operate GPU compute platforms at scale, including GPU Operator deployment and lifecycle management, MIG partitioning, and advanced scheduling using Run:AI or Kubernetes-native device plugins.
  • Account for distributed training workloads, including data, model, and pipeline parallelism, and inference pipelines using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server and TensorRT optimization.
  • Align infrastructure with CUDA, cuDNN, NCCL, InfiniBand HDR/NDR, RoCE for RDMA, GPUDirect RDMA, and GPUDirect Storage.
  • Define and implement full-stack observability using Prometheus and Thanos for metrics, Loki and Fluent Bit for logs, and DCGM Exporter and NVIDIA Nsight Systems for GPU telemetry.
  • Build operational frameworks, including SLO/SLA definitions, error-budget tracking, alerting strategy, and incident-response and on-call runbooks.
  • Design zero-trust security for multi-tenant platforms, including secret management with HashiCorp Vault and External Secrets Operator; IAM, RBAC, and SSO/OIDC integration; network isolation with NetworkPolicy, micro-segmentation, and mTLS; and secure GPU sharing through MIG isolation, vGPU licensing, and tenant-boundary enforcement.
  • Understand high-performance storage for AI/HPC workloads, including GPUDirect Storage, Weka and Ceph distributed file systems, storage tiering, caching, and data lifecycle management.
  • Size and validate storage architectures against workload I/O profiles.
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for critical production issues.
  • Define upgrade strategies, change-management procedures, and disaster-recovery plans.
  • Write and maintain runbooks, operational playbooks, and knowledge-base content.
  • Integrate organizational processes, compliance requirements, and security policies into operational frameworks.
  • Tune Linux kernels, including CPU governor, NUMA, IRQ affinity, and hugepages; optimize storage I/O scheduling and NVMe; tune network stacks for RDMA/InfiniBand; and profile system performance to analyze bottlenecks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU Operator, MIG partitioning, Run:AI, or equivalent GPU scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of distributed AI training infrastructure, such as PyTorch DDP, Horovod, or DeepSpeed, from an infrastructure perspective.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Triton Inference Server or TensorRT deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with Weka, Ceph, or GPUDirect Storage in HPC/AI environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Vault, External Secrets, and zero-trust network architectures.
  • Exposure to bare-metal provisioning and HPC cluster management with Slurm, PBS, or equivalent.
  • CKA/CKS, RHCE/RHCA, AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, HashiCorp Terraform or Vault Associate, or NVIDIA DLI certifications.

About the company

Integrant builds enterprise software for regulated industries like medical devices, life sciences, pharma, financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector. Their offerings include full platform development, modernization of legacy systems, or embedding AI agents into client workflows. It uses the Agentic Software Development Life Cycle (ADLC), where AI agents assist across requirements, architecture, build, test, and deployment, while engineers with deep domain knowledge govern every step to ensure quality. Unlike many firms, Integrant combines top-tier engineering talent (the top 1% in a demanding market), a long-track record in regulated environments, and responsible AI acceleration with engineer accountability. Their goal is to be the trusted technology partner clients rely on for mission-critical software that lasts. Headquartered in San Diego with engineering centers in Cairo and Amman.
