Bob's Discount Furniture sells affordable home furniture through a network of retail showrooms with everyday low prices and no sales gimmicks. Shoppers browse in-store selections at discount prices in large-format stores that may include a café for snacks and drinks. The approach differentiates itself by avoiding frequent sales events, growing by occupying vacant retail spaces, and leveraging founder-led advertising to build brand recognition. The goal is nationwide expansion while keeping prices low and pursuing opportunities such as a potential public offering.

Bob's Discount Furniture announces season two of "Till décor Do Us Part" Bob's Discount Furniture, Inc., one of the nation's fastest-growing furniture retailers, announced the launch of Season 2 of "Till Decor Do Us Part," its industry-first social video series that follows real couples navigating differing design styles as they transform a room in their home. The new season premieres today across social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Season 1 of "Till Decor Do Us Part," which aired in the summer of 2025, was a breakout hit. The series racked up more than 152 million video views and 223 million impressions across social platforms, driving nearly $9 million in attributable sales. The second season aims to build on that success, featuring six new couples from across the country taking on the challenge of transforming their homes. Rather than manage production in-house, Bob's tapped established creator couples for Season 2 to create content that inspires and resonates with audiences. "The success we've seen with "Till Decor Do Us Part" proves that authentic social content wins audiences and drives real business results," said Stephen Nesle, Chief Marketing Officer of Bob's Discount Furniture. "For Season 2, we're handing the keys to content creators, giving them ownership over the creative direction of their episodes to organically expand our reach. By empowering creators to tell authentic design stories through their own voices and communities, we're building deeper engagement, earning meaningful attention, and engaging with customers in a way that traditional advertising simply can't. Bob's Discount Furniture has always been a marketing innovator, and this new season reflects how we're thoughtfully evolving our strategy to reach new audiences and creating content that people connect with and want to keep watching." Host Gabby Bryan returns for Season 2, joined by six creator couples: Jay & Sharon, JC Caylen (JC & Chelsey), NewBuild_Newlyweds (Kelsey & Ryan), Saira & Iromy, Matt & Kharli, and TheShofs (Abisola & Seyi). The couples live across four states - California, Maryland, Ohio, and Pennsylvania - and represent a wide range of lifestyles and design preferences. Each episode will feature a complete room transformation with furniture and décor items from Bob's Discount Furniture, showcasing the brand's quality, stylish assortment and demonstrating that great design is achievable for every home and budget. The creator-led approach is already resonating with participating talent. The creators behind NewBuild_Newlyweds shared, "Bob's is one of our favorite brand partners we've worked with - their products are amazing quality and the options are endless. We've designed a dining room, living room, and bedroom exclusively with Bob's products, and there's so much to choose from. We've had several family members & friends shocked the pieces we have come from Bob's. The Bob-o-pedic rugs are next level comfy!" "Till Decor Do Us Part" represents a strategic shift for Bob's Discount Furniture, which has rolled out memorable marketing campaigns for more than three decades, often featuring its iconic Little Bob "spokes-puppet." With this series, the brand continues to blend entertainment with commerce-driven storytelling in new ways to reinforce Bob's as a destination for home design at an accessible price point. "Till Decor Do Us Part" will run through the fall, with a new episode dropping every week. Bob's Discount Furniture opens in Big Flats. * scott brubaker * sep 4, 2026 updated 4 hrs ago. BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) - A new furniture store is now officially open in the Southern Tier. Bob's Discount Furniture opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting on Friday morning. Along with the ribbon-cutting, the store presented checks to two local organizations. The Glove House and Diven Elementary School both received a $2,500 donation. Representatives from both of the organizations were on hand and expressed their gratitude for the donations. The store manager, Jim Colicino, said it's just part of the "Bob's" way. He said that every time "Bob's" opens a new location, giving back is what they do. Bob's Discount Furniture now has over 200 stores across the country. "Very, very important to us. We always give back to the community that we go into because it's part of how Bob started the company 35 years ago," Colicino said. "That's something we truly believe differentiates us is the folks out in the community." Colicino said this is most likely not the last time you'll see a give-back at the store. Located in the former Tops building in Big Flats, Bob's Discount Furniture is open every day from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. The store offers everything from beds to couches, dining room setups, home decor, and much more.
Bob's Discount Furniture reported second quarter net revenue increased 8.8% to $619.6 million, up from $569.5 million the previous year. The growth was driven by four new store openings and comparable sales increases. Gross profit rose 20.7% to $319.1 million. However, adjusted net income decreased to $27.8 million from $32.2 million, whilst adjusted EBITDA fell to $60.8 million from $62.8 million. The company reiterated its 2026 fiscal outlook, targeting net income between $152 million and $160 million and adjusted EBITDA of $255 million to $265 million. Chief executive Bill Barton attributed the performance to the company's value-focused pricing strategy, which he said continues to drive market share gains.
Biz Beat Roundup: downtown icon to re-open Friday. Business activity. * Goolrick's will re-open Friday after a four-year renovation of the 1808 building at 901 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg. The business is reputedly the longest-running soda fountain in the U.S., having opened in 1869. The renovation, which was undertaken by building owner Jarrell Properties Inc. and a team of local contractors, kept the original tin ceilings and includes hand-laid tile flooring. The kitchen will be led by Executive Chef D'Andre Sykes, who began his career in 2017 at Fredericksburg's Fahrenheit 132 before cooking in Nashville and Chicago, including at restaurants Elske and Jeong. The menu will nearly mirror the traditional Goolrick's fare - including chicken and egg salad sandwiches, salads, hand-mixed sodas and milkshakes. Seating is now available for up to 50 people, and there is a retail area at the back where the pharmacy used to be. Regular hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Friday's festivities will include a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 11 a.m., swag bags for the first 50 guests and more. Work continues on the building's basement, which will be a Prohibition-era speakeasy concept called Section 7 that is expected to open later this year with entrances from both Goolrick's and George Street. Section 7 is named for the provision of the Volstead Act that permitted pharmacies like Goolrick's to dispense medicinal whiskey. * A new Goodwill store opened at 1275 Emancipation Hwy., Friday, July 31, 2026.
