Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in processor or other related high performance semiconductor designs.
  • Verilog expertise required as is a deep understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, bring-up & lab debug
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the work in a dynamic, global team.
  • Your successful track record of mentoring junior engineers and interns a huge plus.
  • A strong background in computer architecture, cache coherency or high speed interconnects.
Responsibilities
  • As a member of our core CPU team, you'll own and be responsible for crafting and timely delivery of a specific unit on the chip.
  • Day to day tasks include: writing readable high performance and low power RTL, Synthesis and Timing closure, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with our verification team to verify the correctness of your unit.
  • Work with implementation to achieve your timing, area, performance and power goals.
  • Assist with timing closure of super units.

Nvidia CEO tells investors to 'buy at a discount' as AI stocks drop $1.3T

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told investors to buy AI stocks during a market downturn in early June, calling falling prices a discount opportunity. Huang backed his words with action, announcing a multi-year partnership with SK Hynix to co-develop next-generation AI memory chips. Nvidia's fiscal fourth-quarter revenue reached $68.1 billion, up 73% year-over-year. Investors who bought Nvidia shares on 8 June gained 5.1% by early August, slightly outperforming the S&P 500's 4.3% rise.

US oil reserves hit 40-year low as Brent crude rallies 5% and Nvidia launches $500B AI funding push

US crude oil stockpiles in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve have fallen below 300 million barrels for the first time in over 40 years. The reserve dropped by 6.1 million barrels to 298.7 million barrels last week, according to Department of Energy data released Monday. President Trump ordered the release of 172 million barrels in March after Iran disrupted oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Nvidia announced plans with six asset firms to mobilise over $500 billion in third-party capital for hyperscalers and AI labs. The initiative aims to help customers acquire Nvidia hardware without using their own balance sheets.

Cathie Wood buys 80,000 Nvidia shares amid AI panic, dumps Roblox after 50% crash

Point2 raises $136M Series B led by LB Investment with Arm and Maverick Silicon for AI data-centre interconnect tech

Point2 Technology has completed an extension of its Series B funding, bringing the total round to $136 million. The latest investment was led by LB Investment, with new strategic participation from Arm and continued support from existing investor Maverick Silicon. The company develops RF-based interconnect solutions for AI data-centre infrastructure. Its investor roster now includes NVIDIA, Arm, UMC Capital, Molex, and Bosch Ventures. Point2 will use the capital to expand its engineering, systems, operations, and business teams. The funding will accelerate commercialisation of its Active RF Cable, near-packaged e-Tube, and co-packaged e-Tube solutions for rack-scale compute systems. The company's e-Tube Technology Platform uses RF signalling over plastic waveguides, addressing interconnect bottlenecks as AI systems scale to terabit-per-second speeds.
