About the job
- Submit an updated resume.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or General Educational Development equivalent.
- Have access to reliable transportation.
- Provide documentation of updated vaccinations, including tuberculosis, measles-mumps-rubella, varicella, hepatitis B or a declination, tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis, seasonal influenza, and COVID-19, as applicable to location, regulations, and business policies.
- Successfully complete a drug test and background check and security screen.
- Sign a commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act compliance.
- Provide on-site consecutive interpretation.
- Follow Kreato Global policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and standards.
- Establish and maintain quality service and positive interactions with patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees.
- Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject-matter knowledge.
- At least 1 year of interpreting experience.
- Knowledge of Kreato Global’s evaluation process conforming to interpreting standards defined by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care, the International Medical Interpreters Association, and the California Healthcare Interpreters Association.
