Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator
About the job
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating all resident activities, including special events, according to the Life Enrichment programs on a monthly basis.
- Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
- Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff in disease prevention and management within the holistic Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
- Lead daily resident activities according to Community standards.
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to Community standards.
- Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs that meet the needs of residents in varying circumstances, including newly retired seniors, seniors needing physical assistance, and seniors in varying stages of memory loss.
- An associate’s degree is preferred.
- Six months of experience working with seniors in activities or life enrichment is preferred.
- Memory care experience is preferred.
