Requirements
  • Previous experience working with electronic health record systems is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting as a medical assistant or central scheduler is preferred.
  • Strong personal computer skills, including the ability to provide relevant examples of personal computer troubleshooting.
  • Bilingual ability with Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of website navigation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous experience working from home is a plus.
  • One year of experience supporting MyChart is a plus.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • The work-from-home office must be in a quiet, secluded area free of background noise.
  • Ability to connect the laptop directly to the home internet router with a networking or Ethernet cord.
  • Ability to find an alternative private and quiet work location during a power or internet outage.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers by receiving automated call distribution phone calls, answering inquiries through chat, and addressing tickets submitted through the in-basket or other methods.
  • Connect effectively with customers and clients while meeting acceptable performance metrics.
  • Use available knowledge-base resources to troubleshoot and resolve issues whenever possible.
  • Share responsibility for maintaining the knowledge base.
  • Complete internal process and account training during the first 90 days as an Agent in Training.
  • Meet the goals and expectations identified during orientation and discuss training progress with the designated leadership team.
