Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • No visa sponsorship (H-1B or TN) for this position
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug testing; background checks may include criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc., and may include credit and motor vehicle checks where applicable
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (e.g., Secret/Top Secret or DOE clearance) as applicable to work
  • Proficiency with business tools, including Microsoft Office (advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary
Responsibilities
  • Performs statistical analysis to validate models and derive actionable conclusions from data sets; align with Forecasting And Report Development Support functional area initiatives and ensure accurate projections for workforce and economic trends
  • Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, and Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services for the Department of Energy Office of Policy
  • Support Stakeholder Engagement Specialist activities: develop methodologies, forecasts, and visual reports to support workforce and energy market trends analysis; support DOE initiatives with analysis, collaboration, and strategic implementation

  • Expertise in energy, policy, and technical consulting; domain expertise in energy and policy domains
  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience (if considered as desirable, though it's stated as requirement)

  • Competencies including problem solving, adaptability, teamwork, and judgment within energy sector operations
  • Ancillary responsibilities include documentation and dissemination of energy solutions and engaging with stakeholders to align with DOE objectives
  • Security-related competencies and willingness to work under clearance conditions as applicable
