Responsibilities
  • Organize the orientation, training, and scheduling of volunteers.
  • Coordinate volunteers who provide patient care and support services according to their experience and training and in compliance with organization policies.
  • Promote hospice services and support the organization's mission and vision.
Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of 1-2 years of business college is preferred.

Brighton Hospice is a hospice provider supporting people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Interdisciplinary teams coordinate nursing, medical, social-work, spiritual, aide, and bereavement support. Care is delivered in homes and other residential settings with an emphasis on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Brighton serves patients who have elected comfort-focused end-of-life care and works with caregivers and referring clinicians through an interdisciplinary model combining symptom management, psychosocial support, spiritual care, and bereavement services. Services are coordinated around an individualized plan of care and changing symptoms.
