Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and storage technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage infrastructure that supports high-scale, low-latency SaaS applications. Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and real-time data processing is essential.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a proven track record of optimizing performance and cost.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures is a plus.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent is important.
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining high availability, fault-tolerant systems. Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Experience in automating infrastructure processes, deploying CI/CD pipelines, and adopting new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
  • Deep knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure systems, including network, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive innovation initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and policies to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure environment.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, making recommendations for adoption to enhance infrastructure capabilities and efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating agreements and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, forecasting future needs and resource requirements.
  • Build and develop a talented team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where team members can thrive and grow.
