Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of contract-related experience or a recent Juris Doctorate recipient
  • Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts and Uniform Commercial Code
  • Negotiation and general procurement knowledge and experience
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Publisher, and SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, adapt, and be flexible
  • Strong analytical, influencing, and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Prepare routine responses, correspondence, and contract documentation in response to requests for proposals and solicitations
  • Support the business throughout the standard opportunity lifecycle including proposal development, pricing strategies, bid management, contract negotiation, execution, and modification
  • Ensure compliance with standard Evoqua risk tolerances
  • Partner with the business to understand the business case behind bid and proposal and counsel on customer messaging strategy
  • Identify potential risks and partner with senior team members to review and revise commercial proposals
  • Advise business on potential risks of accepting customer terms and necessary approvals per internal management review policy
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files using Contract Lifecycle Management System
  • Document contract performance and compliance
  • Conduct research to support contract audit and/or facilitate business unit contracting trends
  • Partner with senior team members on more complex matters
