About the job

Requirements
  • Ability to build useful software, work through unfamiliar systems, and explain technical decisions clearly.
  • Interest in working with customers and taking a project from the first conversation to production.
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with customers to turn their workflows into agents that run in production.
  • Own deployments end to end by developing a deep understanding of customer problems, building integrations, shipping agents and evaluations, and engineering systems for continuous improvement.
  • Identify recurring challenges, translate production feedback into platform capabilities, and inform product direction.

About the company

Sim Studio builds a visual platform to create, deploy, and manage large language model (LLM) workflows. Its core product Sim provides a drag-and-drop, node-based interface to connect 100+ tools and models (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini) for designing AI agents, with Sim handling the orchestration. It differentiates itself with a Figma-like visual design, an open-source self-hosted option under Apache-2.0, and an approach that combines MLOps, workflow automation, and AI orchestration in one platform, available as cloud or self-hosted deployments. Goal: help software teams prototype, validate, and scale AI-powered systems quickly and visually.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Sim raised $7M in November 2025 from Standard Capital, Perplexity Fund, and SV Angel.
  • March-June 2026 shipped v0.6 and v0.7, adding Tables, Files, GitLab sync, and S3 storage.
  • Sim's June 2026 pricing still starts at $25 monthly, lowering adoption friction for teams.

What critics are saying

  • n8n, Retool, and Dify outscale Sim on distribution, integrations, and enterprise trust by 2026.
  • Sim's July 2026 Agent Reality Index ranks 23rd of 25 low-code platforms.
  • If Sim fails to monetize its 100,000-builder community, GitHub stars won't stop churn.

What makes Sim unique

  • Sim's March 2026 Mothership turns workflows, tables, files, and integrations into one workspace.
  • Sim's Apache-2.0 open source model supports self-hosting and enterprise deployment flexibility.
  • Sim's Figma-like visual canvas separates it from code-first frameworks like LangChain and CrewAI.
