  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Understanding of the education market (specifically early childhood education)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Identify and target potential clients within the education sector through market research, industry analysis, and lead generation
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
  • Engage with key decision-makers in educational programs to understand their needs and present Teachstone's solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to convert prospects into qualified opportunities
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the early childhood education landscape
  • Research and identify qualify leads from marketing campaigns
  • Set up meetings or calls between clients and Field Sales/Partnership Director representatives
  • Report on sales results
  • Meet quarterly and annual activity and performance objectives
  • Record all activities and build a sales pipeline in CRM
  • Maintain a positive and professional manner while handling outbound calls
