About the company

Farsyt focuses on automating the insurance value chain using AI-powered tech and operates as a licensed brokerage through Ashmont Insurance Agency while developing a proprietary technology platform. It engages the market as a digital insurance broker to sell and manage policies today, and uses the live brokerage environment to train and refine its AI tools for underwriting, policy management, and distribution. Unlike typical insurtechs that silo tech or brokerage, Farsyt earns brokerage revenue now while building a fully integrated AI-native platform for insurance services. The ultimate goal is to rebuild insurance from the ground up by delivering a comprehensive technology backbone that automates purchasing, selling, and managing policies.

What believers are saying

  • Farsyt posted producer and engineer roles in 2026, showing active product and sales buildout.
  • Ashmont’s August 2026 site advertises cross-selling, quoting, and bind workflows across multiple lines.
  • The company already operates revenue-linked brokerage flows, giving investors proof before full platform launch.

What critics are saying

  • No disclosed funding or headcount beyond 1-10 employees signals a fragile 2026 runway.
  • If Massachusetts licensing or carrier access slips, Ashmont’s brokerage revenue stops immediately.
  • A carrier or regulator can undercut automated quoting fast, especially after a compliance error.

What makes Farsyt unique

  • Farsyt and Ashmont operate a licensed brokerage while building AI insurance software in production.
  • Ashmont’s 2026 platform covers commercial and personal lines, not a single narrow niche.
  • The brokerage generates live customer data, letting Farsyt train automation on real quotes.
