Requirements
- Knowledge of ductile iron pipe.
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and permits.
- Ability to prepare daily inspection reports using Microsoft Word.
- Ability to take photos and insert them into daily inspection reports.
- An updated resume and three to four professional references are required during the submission process.
Responsibilities
- Inspect water utilities, pipelines, and water meters.
- Troubleshoot water utilities.
- Inspect hot tapping on existing water mains.
- Inspect the installation, replacement, and repair of new water system pipelines.
- Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing.
- Inspect various types of pipelines, including ductile iron pipe.
- Inspect water main replacements, reservoirs, new installations, booster pump stations, and similar projects.
- Oversee general contractors.
- Ensure projects comply with codes, construction documents, contracts, and client specifications.
