Responsibilities
  • Create visually compelling designs for a wide range of assets, from high-impact marketing materials to creative campaign components
  • Design professional, engaging, and visually consistent presentations, working closely with the team to develop slides that clearly communicate brand messages and campaign strategies
  • Support our motion team in developing video assets across varied client needs
  • Produce optimized designs for digital display ads, ensuring they are platform-specific, engaging, and brand-aligned
  • Design social media content that aligns with platform specifications and creative goals, using a social-first approach to drive engagement
  • Work on email templates, banner ads, and other CRM-related materials to ensure they meet brand standards and marketing objectives
  • Ensure that content is appropriately localized for different regions while maintaining brand integrity and style consistency
  • Perform detailed QC checks across all design work to ensure it meets high-quality standards, is brand-compliant, and is correctly formatted for delivery
  • Regularly review assets for visual consistency, ensuring they align with both the Code and Theory brand and individual client guidelines
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and other senior designers to maintain creative integrity across all design outputs
  • Use AI-powered design tools and automation software to optimize workflows, such as AI-assisted resizing, template generation, and batch production processes
  • Ensure the use of AI is supportive of creative endeavors, helping to streamline repetitive tasks and enable faster production cycles without compromising on the quality or craft of the design work
  • Experiment with generative design tech (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly) to explore new creative possibilities and expand design horizons
  • Partner with Project Managers, Creative Directors, and other team leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and at the highest standard
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to contribute ideas and influence the overall direction of design projects
  • Work with other designers, junior team members, and external collaborators to execute a unified vision across various project types
  • Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and new AI capabilities, integrating them into your workflow to enhance productivity and the creative output of the team
  • Contribute to the development of new design techniques and best practices that help scale production and improve efficiency while maintaining a high level of creativity
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, offering feedback on creative work and helping them improve their skills and understanding of design processes
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for design and creative processes, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the design team.
