The Opportunity:
An Associate In Research position is available in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Washington State University Spokane with Dr. Boyang (Jason) Wu. The lab research focuses on molecular, cellular, and preclinical studies to elucidate the roles, mechanisms, and targeting potential of novel genes that mediate therapy resistance in prostate cancer, as well as to characterize the tumor microenvironment and immune modulation in prostate cancer to develop combination therapies with improved immunotherapy effectiveness.

Annual Salary: $60,000. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should have earned a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or Data Science,
A proven track record and publications in conducting computational data analyses (genomics/multi-omics),
Candidates are expected to be self-motivated,
Strong oral/written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, scRNA-seq, and other sequencing data analysis is highly desired.
Understanding of cancer biology or immunology is also an asset.
