Daily use of AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, including frontend interfaces and APIs, with the ability to build prompts, workflows, and integrations around them.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including INDEX/MATCH, nested IFs, dynamic ranges, and conditional formatting; experience building complex multi-tab models that adapt to input changes.
Ability to map inputs to outputs and build configurable rather than static systems.
Preference for simple, maintainable solutions that non-technical team members can update.
Ability to clean messy, unstructured data and make it usable.
Strong attention to detail.
Fluent written English for producing SOPs, process documentation, and methodology notes.
Responsibilities
Audit existing team workflows and identify tasks to automate, systematise, or eliminate.
Build automations using Zapier, n8n, or similar workflow tools to connect platforms, trigger actions, and transfer data without manual intervention.
Use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT through frontend interfaces and API integrations to automate content generation, data processing, analysis, and reporting.
Build configurable Excel or Google Sheets models, including scoring engines, decision frameworks, dashboards, and templates, with variable inputs and no hardcoding.
Clean, structure, and transform raw data from client systems, including ERPs, advertising platforms, and e-commerce channels, into actionable information.
Design standardised reporting templates and automated pipelines across clients.
Write clear SOPs and documentation that enable non-technical team members to use, update, and troubleshoot tools.
Identify new AI tools, automations, and workflow improvements.

RocketAMS is an Australian e-commerce agency managing marketplace operations for established brands. We handle catalogue strategy, advertising, reporting, and channel expansion across Amazon and other Australian platforms. We're scaling fast and need someone to build the operational systems that make it possible.
The Role
Your job is to look at what the team does manually, and automate things
You'll map out our workflows, identify the repetitive parts, and build systems that handle them — using AI tools, workflow automation, and smart spreadsheet models. The key constraint: everything you build needs to be maintainable by non-technical team members. If something breaks, an account manager should be able to fix it, not just you.
That means we favour no-code/low-code tools over pure code. Zapier and n8n over Python scripts. Claude and ChatGPT interfaces over custom API builds. Google Sheets over databases. When code is genuinely needed, it should be simple, documented, and the last resort.
What You'll Do
Audit existing team workflows and identify what can be automated, systematised, or eliminated
Build automations using Zapier, n8n, or similar workflow tools — connecting our platforms, triggering actions, moving data between systems without manual intervention
Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) extensively — both through the frontend interfaces and via API integrations where needed — to automate content generation, data processing, analysis, and reporting tasks
Build configurable Excel/Sheets models — scoring engines, decision frameworks, dashboards, templates — where every input is a variable and nothing is hardcoded
Take raw data from client systems (ERPs, ad platforms, e-commerce channels) and clean, structure, and transform it into something the team can act on
Design standardised reporting templates and automated pipelines across all clients
Write clear SOPs and documentation so anyone on the team can use, update, and troubleshoot your tools without technical knowledge
Continuously look for new AI tools, automations, and workflow improvements — this space moves fast and we want to stay ahead
What You Need
