Requirements
- Solid experience setting up, designing, and developing complex producer and consumer logic using an enterprise service bus layer with Kafka.
- Four to six years of experience architecting and implementing Kafka Streams, Kafka producer and consumer applications, consumer frameworks, Kafka extended APIs, Kafka security, and Kafka cluster and workload optimization.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Kafka Streams for data processing.
- Design and implement Kafka producer applications that produce near-real-time data.
- Design and implement Kafka consumers that read data from Kafka partitions.
- Write Kafka consumer frameworks supporting retry, replay, and rollback scenarios.
- Develop extended Kafka APIs for developers.
- Implement Kafka security using SSL, SASL, Kerberos, and access control lists.
- Optimize Kafka clusters and workloads.
