- Business analysis capability is required.
- Identify, analyze, and document detailed business requirements across business functions.
- Publish and distribute business requirements documents and ensure they are signed off.
- Communicate with business partners using data and process models to clarify and validate requirements.
- Develop business data requirements as business and data models, including documenting workflows in Visio.
- Recommend solutions to team, business process, and reporting issues.
- Triage and troubleshoot user-reported system defects; educate users on training or data issues that are not true defects; perform initial analysis of true defects and hand them over to application programmers for resolution.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users, team members, and other interested parties in the department.
- Research new technology and evaluate potential departmental applications.
- Lead efforts to evaluate third-party software acquisition, produce requests for information, facilitate system demonstrations, assist in developing pricing structures, and provide recommendations to management.
