Requirements
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 5+ years proven track record in production, manufacturing, and assembly of turbomachinery components
  • Strong knowledge of hardware fabrication and quality control
  • Solid understanding of rotating machinery component design and manufacturing including turbines, impellers, cases, bearings, and seals
  • Proficiency in data analysis and post-processing to assess component health
  • Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to effectively distill issues and effectively communicate complex technical data at a high level
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, manufacture, and test rocket engine turbomachinery components
  • Responsible for leading design and producibility advancements to reduce cost, increase quality, and optimize performance of rocket engine turbomachinery components and assemblies
  • Capability to lead, mentor, and propel the mission forward through continuous improvement and technical leadership within a multidisciplinary team
