F&B Captain - In-Villa Dining

Job Description

• Lead and supervise the In-Villa Dining team during shifts

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalized in-room dining service

• Set up, present, and serve meals according to departmental standards

• Respond to guest enquiries and promote upselling opportunities

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of trolleys, workstations, and equipment

• Follow food safety and HACCP standards at all times

• Handle collection and breakdown of used dishes, trays, and trolleys efficiently

• Report guest feedback, complaints, and irregularities to management

• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods as needed

• Safely operate and drive a buggy for timely delivery and collection of orders

• Take full responsibility for Destination Dining setups and create "WOW Experiences"

• Train, coach, and mentor junior waitstaff

• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure timely service delivery

Qualifications

• 2–3 years luxury in-room dining experience

• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or captain role

• Excellent English communication skills

• Additional languages are a plus

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Ability to  work outdoors

• Professional grooming and guest discretion
