Uses hand tools and follows blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
Can work overtime and weekends as necessary.
Can meet regular travel requirements, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling service, and completing repairs and maintenance.
Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
Document work by completing paperwork for each job and maintaining files, including daily time, progress, and duration.
Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
Determine parts to order for repairs and the timeliness of need.
Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment, and return unused resources.
Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
Read and interpret product specifications.
Provide technical support to customers.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements
HVAC Service Tech for company that handles service work and site maintenance for national accounts.
• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location.
• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as need or requested by customers.
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness
• Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service
• Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear. Notifies customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
• Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.
