Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in customer service skills and use of routine office equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, and web-based applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to soldiers navigating the transition from military to civilian employment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and evolving program requirements, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with readiness support services for eligible United States Army Reserve soldiers and dependent family members at family outreach, employer outreach and education, networking, Yellow Ribbon employment support, Warrior Training Unit, Post Deployment Health Reassessment Program, Leadership Development and Assessment Course, Reserve Officer Training Corps outreach, transition assistance outreach, and unit outreach events.
  • Provide personalized career counseling to Army Reserve soldiers by helping them understand transferable skills, career options, and potential civilian employment opportunities.
  • Support soldiers transitioning from active duty to the civilian workforce by providing resources, information, and guidance.
  • Maintain active communication with private-sector partners in assigned areas of responsibility and coordinate with the Private Public Partnership Office for validation and approval of potential partnerships.
  • Assist with the management, oversight, guidance, and support of Private Public Partnership Office programs to develop private-sector partners.
  • Maintain an active list of private-sector partners, including points of contact and current initiatives, programs, and projects supporting the office's mission, strategic goals, and objectives.
  • Ensure the partner list is readily available to Private Public Partnership Office staff.
  • Provide a monthly report indicating outreach efforts with industry partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience serving in the Army Reserve or a similar military branch, with a strong understanding of military culture, structure, and operations.
  • Relevant certifications.
