Requirements
  • A local high school diploma or equivalent is required, or the candidate must be working toward one.
  • The candidate must be enrolled in and attending a local educational program in high school, a General Educational Development program, technical college, or university.
  • The candidate must live locally; relocation is not authorized for this role.
  • The candidate must possess a valid driver's license.
  • The candidate must be able to lift or transfer 50 pounds occasionally.
  • The candidate must maintain strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • The candidate must be able to perform basic mathematics.
  • The candidate must be able to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse to accomplish work tasks, including viewing computer monitor screens for the entirety of the assigned shift.
  • The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • The candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, monitor equipment and a computer for prolonged periods, and occasionally be exposed to chemicals while using provided personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain laboratory documentation.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and quality packaging of bovine semen in accordance with ABS standards.
  • Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production laboratory as business needs require.
  • Adhere to proper cleaning, sanitation, and sterilization protocols for all processing and collection equipment.
  • Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment.
  • Communicate issues to appropriate personnel, including leads, supervisors, managers, and support groups.
  • Perform all assigned duties based on daily production needs.
  • Follow safe work procedures and report incidents.
  • Perform other assigned projects and responsibilities.
