Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training or a two-year degree is required.
  • Five to ten years of general business experience is required.
  • Successful completion of the retail training program and PB requirements is required.
  • Product knowledge, sales aptitude, and service competencies must be demonstrated.
  • NLMS requirements must be completed for S.A.F.E. Act certification, with registry registration and verification of a unique identifier required before performing mortgage loan originator duties; registration must be maintained annually.
  • The role requires the ability to operate keypad, electronic, and office equipment, perform typing and data entry, meet specified standing and sitting requirements, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Profile customers to determine financial service needs and refer customers to other lines of business when appropriate.
  • Open loan and deposit accounts and achieve assigned loan, deposit, and other sales goals.
  • Provide support to the Branch Manager.
  • Complete assigned Frontline, Platform Sales, and RSS Operational training in conjunction with Retail Operations.
  • Assist with the efficient and effective operation of the branch customer service function.
  • Create a working environment focused on exceptional service and sales efforts.
  • Coach staff regarding S&T sales expectations and assigned goals.
  • Complete assigned Bank leader classes and scheduled leadership courses.
  • Execute S&T sales conversations, record notes in appropriate systems, and recommend suitable loan and deposit products.
  • Use customer service and correspondence software to conduct customer interviews, determine financial needs, and follow up with solutions.
  • Prepare loan applications using LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation.
  • Open new deposit accounts and produce signature cards, certificates of deposit, and other deposit documents.
  • Suggest additional bank services, including loan accounts, deposit services, and insurance products, and make referrals as needed.
  • Follow up on opened loans and deposit accounts and correct deficiencies or document exceptions.
  • Complete outbound campaign calls on new and existing customers using the Sales & Service guide and Branch Playbook.
  • Handle customer loan inquiries, take loan applications, and use decision power applications as customer needs dictate.
  • Contribute to branch goals and sales and service standards outlined in the Branch Playbook and by Branch Management.
  • Execute professional sales and service behaviors aligned with the bank's purpose, values, and core drivers.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with employees in other departments and work independently and collaboratively to support branch success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful branch operation.

S&T Bank opens new Pittsburgh branch and expands office at One North Shore Center

S&T Bank has announced plans to open a new full-service branch and expanded Pittsburgh office at One North Shore Center, 12 Federal Street. The $9.9 billion bank will occupy approximately 28,000 square feet, replacing its previous location at 358 North Shore Drive, which lacked a branch and offered limited office space. In partnership with Pittsburgh-based property firm Elmhurst, the location is being renovated into a Class A office featuring modern amenities including technology-enabled conference rooms, wellness features and flexible workspaces. The expanded facility will provide increased access to in-person banking services and additional space for employees. S&T Bank will maintain its corporate headquarters in Indiana, Pennsylvania. S&T Bancorp reports Q4 2025 net income of $34M with ROA of 1.37% and NIM expansion to 3.99%

S&T Bancorp reported fourth quarter 2025 net income of $34.0 million, or $0.89 per diluted share, compared to $35.0 million, or $0.91 per share, in the third quarter. Full year net income was $134.2 million, or $3.49 per diluted share, up from $131.3 million, or $3.41 per share, in 2024. The Pennsylvania-based bank holding company saw net interest income grow $1.8 million in the fourth quarter, whilst net interest margin expanded 6 basis points to 3.99%. Total portfolio loans increased $91.0 million, or 4.52% annualised, compared to September 2025. However, net charge-offs rose to $11.0 million from $2.4 million in the previous quarter, primarily due to nonperforming asset resolutions. The company's board authorised a new $100 million share repurchase programme, effective 26 January 2026.
