About the job

Requirements
  • At least 7 years of construction industry experience in construction management, project management, project engineering, field operations, VDC/BIM coordination, or operations leadership.
  • A demonstrated track record of establishing processes, standards, checklists, or playbooks that people followed, ideally in environments that previously had none.
  • Deep working knowledge of construction execution, including pre-construction planning, scope and change-order management, field operations, submittals, requests for information, and asset/equipment tracking on active jobsites.
  • Hands-on experience using one or more construction-focused platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, CxAlloy, Facility Grid, Bluebeam, or Newforma, as a user, project administrator, or project champion.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites up to 50%, run working sessions with construction managers and superintendents, and convert field feedback into structured decisions.
  • Ability to define and enforce standards across project teams that historically operated independently while maintaining the credibility needed to keep them engaged.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and decision-making skills, with the candor to surface friction and resistance honestly rather than work around it.
Responsibilities
  • Own the vision, roadmap, and long-term success of the company’s construction execution platforms.
  • Evaluate and guide the selection of enterprise construction solutions, including Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, CxAlloy, and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with operational leaders to ensure technology investments address field challenges and improve project outcomes.

  • Eliminate manual tracking, disconnected spreadsheets, and inefficient workarounds by creating practical, field-friendly solutions.
  • Champion best practices that improve consistency while supporting project execution realities.
  • Partner with BIM/VDC, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Operations, and Business Technology Group teams to ensure construction systems work together seamlessly.
  • Help define how construction data flows across enterprise resource planning, engineering, commissioning, and field execution platforms.
  • Support integration initiatives that improve visibility, reduce duplication, and create a more connected project delivery environment.
  • Evaluate new technologies, enhancements, and integrations that can provide measurable business value.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to construction leadership on technology, process improvement, and platform strategy.
  • Drive adoption through training, communication, stakeholder engagement, and continuous feedback.
  • Help establish standards and workflows to support the company’s next phase of growth.
  • Build a scalable digital construction environment capable of supporting complex industrial, infrastructure, and data center projects nationwide.
  • Select and implement an enterprise construction platform strategy.
  • Increase visibility into project execution, progress tracking, and field operations.
  • Reduce reliance on disconnected spreadsheets and manual processes.
  • Improve consistency across project teams and regions.
  • Create a scalable technology foundation that supports continued company growth.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in specialty contracting, controls, instrumentation, electrical, or other asset-heavy construction environments.
  • Direct experience evaluating, piloting, or rolling out a construction platform at the project or company level.
  • Familiarity with BIM/VDC workflows and how model data interacts with field execution.
  • Exposure to enterprise resource planning or material requirements planning systems, with Acumatica experience a plus, and understanding how construction execution data ties back to project financials.
  • Working understanding of integration concepts such as application programming interfaces, data exchange, and single sign-on sufficient to partner effectively with integration and enterprise resource planning teams.
  • Vendor management experience with enterprise software-as-a-service vendors.
