About the job
- A valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Journeyman's License is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and project managers regarding project progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Prepare, read, and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine wiring layout, equipment, and fixture placement.
- Assist the Superintendent in planning work and schedules.
- Inspect crew installations for quality and ensure code and safety standards are met.
- Provide on-site direction, mentoring, and training to Apprentice Electricians.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in new commercial and industrial construction settings.
- Perform electrical layout and termination and understand electrical drawings.
- Ensure requested materials are expedited and received as needed.
