About the job
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have a basic understanding of quality assurance concepts and the software development lifecycle.
- Be eager to learn testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Postman.
- Be comfortable using or curious about AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to automate repetitive tasks and speed up test creation.
- Have strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Assist in executing manual, regression, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.
- Support the QA team in planning and running User Acceptance Tests with business stakeholders.
- Help design and maintain simple automated test scripts under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Learn to use AI-powered tools to accelerate test case generation, test script writing, and bug analysis.
- Log, track, and follow up on bugs using tools such as Jira or GitHub Issues.
- Participate in QA process discussions and contribute ideas for improving testing efficiency.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and consistently.
- Have basic familiarity with Git or GitHub.
- Have prior coursework, personal projects, or internship experience involving software testing.
- Have exposure to basic scripting such as Python or JavaScript.
- Have an interest in fintech or financial products.
