Weir launches WARMAN(R) MCR[2](R) next-generation pump to meet rising mill circuit demands. * Date: 27 August 2026 Weir has launched the WARMAN(R) MCR[2](R) mill circuit pump, the latest evolution in WARMAN(R) mill circuit pumping technology, developed to help mineral processing operations respond to more complex ores, higher throughput requirements and tougher operating conditions with greater control. As these pressures intensify, variability in wear, maintenance requirements and asset condition can make operating campaigns harder to plan, increasing uncertainty around production, maintenance and total cost of ownership. Developed in response, the new WARMAN(R) MCR[2](R) mill circuit pump integrates eight patented technologies across hydraulics, wear management, serviceability and condition monitoring in a single design. Drawing on Weir's decades of slurry pumping expertise and insights from the world's largest installed base of mill circuit pumps, the WARMAN(R) MCR[2](R) mill duty pump is designed to extend operating campaigns, simplify maintenance and improve visibility of asset condition. The pump retains the footprint of existing WARMAN(R) mill circuit pumps, helping support higher throughput requirements without major infrastructure changes. Field trials in high-wear mill circuit applications on three continents have validated the pump's performance under demanding operating conditions, reinforcing its role in supporting longer, more predictable operating campaigns. The WARMAN(R) MCR[2](R) mill circuit pump brings together mechanical, hydraulic and digital advances in a single design Mill circuit duties continue to evolve as operators process increasingly challenging ore bodies and look to maximise performance from existing assets. WARMAN MCR[2] technology applies its expertise in hydraulics, materials science and digital technology to the areas of the pump that most influence wear, performance and ease of service. Together, these advances represent a step-change in WARMAN mill circuit pump design, giving operators greater control over how they manage the asset throughout its operating life. John mcnulty, vice president, global engineering and technology. Field validation of the WARMAN(R) MCR[2](R) mill circuit pump in a high-wear operating environment WARMAN slurry pumps have set the benchmark in slurry and mill circuit pumping for decades and are trusted by leading miners in some of the industry's most demanding applications. The WARMAN MCR[2] mill circuit pump technology represents the next stage in that evolution, shaped by operating experience and the challenges customers face today. It helps customers approach performance, maintenance and asset planning with greater confidence as mill circuit duties become more demanding.

NEXT condition and performance monitoring is integrated into the pump, providing operators with continuous visibility into critical health and operating parameters. These insights help identify changes in process behaviour earlier and support more consistent performance throughout the operating campaign. The pump helps customers manage total cost of ownership through longer wear life, fewer maintenance interruptions, simpler servicing, and greater use of existing infrastructure. Christian Trulsson, Director, Global Product Management, Pumps, said: "WARMAN slurry pumps have set the benchmark in slurry and mill circuit pumping for decades and are trusted by leading miners in some of the industry's most demanding applications. Weir launches ESCO(R) Production Master(TM) excavator hoe buckets. A completely new concept for mining class excavators Weir - ESCO 01 July 2026 ESCO development engineers started with a clean slate to conceptualise and construct a mining hoe bucket that exceeded customer expectations in all areas of performance and durability. Through years of experience, field research and computer simulation, the Production Master(TM) hoe bucket was refined with exacting specifications. The initial Production Master(TM) bucket accumulated over 8,700 hours during its first campaign operating on an EX3600 at a South American coal mine in Colombia. When the machine was shut down for its preventive maintenance event, no repairs were needed to the bucket, only replacement of the GET - a true testament to the advanced capabilities of the Production Master(TM) bucket. ESCO(R) Production Master(TM) hoe buckets target 350T class machines and larger with extremely durable, integral nose cast lips. For smaller mining class machines, plate lip versions are an option. All Production Master buckets are custom engineered to meet or exceed customer requirements specific to the machine, operating conditions and production targets. Features and benefits include: · Optimum resistance to fatigue · Enhanced bucket profile and configuration · Superior service life · Premium materials and state-of-the-art fabrication Every detail is configured to meet customer requirements Production Master(TM) hoe buckets can be configured to any application for all mining class excavators. They are engineered for overall durability and superior loading capabilities. The superior lugging technology is built to withstand the most severe applications. Every aspect of the wear protection kits is customisable to match the site conditions. Customers can opt for no liners to maximise capacity and reduce overall weight. All buckets are equipped with the market-leading Nemisys(R) lip system. The new Nexsys(R) mining tooth system is available as an option for select bucket sizes. Maximise production and save time with innovative options Additional options include chamfered bucket corners that improve penetration and loading, and reduce corner wear. We offer an OEM compatible integrated grease system to save maintenance time and simplify commissioning procedures. Also available are attachment pins that meet OEM standards.
