Requirements
  • A college degree is required, consisting of an associate, bachelor’s, or graduate degree, or completion of a college degree by the Manager in Training start date.
  • Zero to five years of work experience is required.
  • Must be able to relocate within the company’s geographic footprint.
  • Must follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
  • Must wear required protective equipment wherever mandatory.
  • Must be able to travel throughout facilities indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to work in wet, cold, hot, humid, and/or dusty environments.
  • Must occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to work unusual shifts, including holidays, weekends, and extended shifts, as needed to meet production requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Learn day-to-day operations under the supervision of functional managers or mentors through direct, hands-on experience in assigned departments, develop an understanding of departmental operations, processes, procedures, and performance standards, and apply learned skills in daily interactions with employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Learn and understand internal and external customer requirements and use information and feedback to improve products and services.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and underlying root causes, suggest solutions, and work with various departments to implement creative solutions that permanently remedy issues.
  • Partner with experienced leadership to lead and direct the day-to-day activities of frontline associates.
  • Make principled decisions in daily interactions with peers, subordinates, and management by learning, understanding, and applying the LEAP philosophy.
  • Learn and understand the company’s vision and objectives to create meaningful and measurable personal and subordinate goals.
  • Follow and ensure others follow all safety initiatives to help maintain a zero-accident culture.
  • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
