Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, STEM, or a related field is required; Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst credentials are a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with SQL, Visual Basic for Applications, or any programming language are preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, portfolio management, and business strategy at an asset management firm, private equity firm, lender, owner/operator, servicer, rating agency, Big Four firm, investment bank, or broker is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrable experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative research are required.
  • Extensive experience managing teams or resources, particularly in a remote or offshore setting, and setting team priorities is required.
  • Experience developing board presentations and reports for senior leadership is required.
  • A proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing technology solutions is required.
  • Clear and effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders are required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
  • Robust attention to detail is required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and insights for the Brio and BREDS executive teams and external clients, focusing on portfolio performance, activity, and composition.
  • Create presentations and other deliverables for internal and external meetings.
  • Gather, coordinate, and synthesize data and analytics with the broader Brio team and BREDS Portfolio Management to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Partner with Brio asset management and other teams to oversee and manage credit positions within funds, ensuring a consistent global approach to strategy, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop insightful, value-added portfolio analysis and ensure a comprehensive understanding of strategies and underlying assets.
  • Create and maintain tools to support portfolio-performance oversight, enhance fund returns, and mitigate risk.
  • Create dynamic models that run portfolio impacts across various sensitivities to determine optimal returns and outperformance.
  • Participate in business-plan reviews and create portfolio-based reporting materials.
  • Calculate and maintain key position metrics, including debt service coverage ratio and other key loan metrics.
  • Benchmark internal and external portfolio performance.
  • Participate in data governance and help implement artificial-intelligence tooling.
  • Document business requirements for reporting and process changes to ensure clarity and alignment across business areas and reduce redundancies.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and improve existing processes and operations.
  • Evaluate technology solutions to automate reporting processes and enhance data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to integrate new tools and systems.
